How to use AI to track finances

Fina is like Notion for your finances. You can create completely custom ways of tracking your finances and share them using templates. I can connect live data, automatically categorize my transactions, and then create custom tracking blocks or simply ask the AI questions.

Not only can I track my finances, but I think this will be another area for creators to make money by sharing their custom templates.

Today, I’m going to show you how to use ChatGPT-4o to scrape websites for leads.

There are many things AI is bad at, but reading data and summarizing it into useful content is not one of them.

But most entrepreneurs give too generic commands to ChatGPT.

In 3 easy steps, I’ll teach you how to use it for scraping leads and sending personalized pitches.

Let’s dive in:

1. Describe who you are

You should give as much detail as possible.

A simple template would be:

• Your skill sets

• Problem you solve

• Your target audience

• Your background and age

• Method you use to solve the problem

Here’s a quick example:

I’m Harsh Makadia, a software developer and digital entrepreneur.

I help founders and CEOs create mobile appos in 72 hours.

My unique solution is to interview my clients so that their websites and apps are designed based on personal touch.

My business is under the name of Fuselio.

Put this into a PDF and name it ‘About me.’

2. Scraping leads

Now, this is where you can be creative.

Basically, you need to find the links of your potential client and put them inside an Excel sheet.

The links can be to a podcast, YT, or LinkedIn profile.

Now, turn that Excel sheet into a PDF and name it ‘Leads.’

3. Feed both to GPT- 4o

Now, upload these files in the ChatGPT.

You want to give it specific instructions, such as writing personalized cold emails, or landing an internship, or pitching services.

Here are a few orders you should give with these:

• Word count

• Writing style

• What you want from them

• What you’re offering to them

Here’s a quick example:

Read the PDF named About Me and help me write personalized cold email pitches for each from the other pdf named Leads.

Keep the writing style professional.

The word count should be under 200.

Include a short compliment from their recent content.

Introduce my services and how they will help them grow their business by retaining more clients through apps and websites.

Now, you should see personalized cold DMS in front of you.

Happy closing to you all.
