Today, I will explain Meta's Llama 3 to a 10-year-old.

This is my attempt to educate you about the complexity of the AI world in a digestible way.

Most people are still underestimating the power of Mark Zuckerberg.

Apart from his newly created, lovable personal brand, he's also making giant strides in AI.

Llama 3 is now the most powerful Open source model in the world.

Let's dive in:

Zuckerberg just released Meta's best AI model.

It's an app that you can download on your Android ( still not available on iOS)

It comes in 3 versions. According to Mark, the mid-level and last level will give tough competition to Claude 3 and ChatGPT-4.

Why should you care? Because It's another free chatbot that can do your basic tasks using AI. 

Making it one of the best free chatbots out there.

Writing, coding or generating images – It does everything.

2.Meta AI on FB, IG and whatsapp

Mark wants to create a seamless connection in all his big-boi apps.

You could use meta AI on:

• WhatsApp - to do some research which you were before doing on Google

• Facebook - to learn most about a post, news or a business

• Instagram - to quickly create a meme with AI

Personally, I love how AI is coming into popular apps.

It will improve the public image of AI.

We won't hear chants of "AI is eating our jobs" on the streets.

3.Why making it open source will affect ChatGPT-4

Open source means anyone can use it for free.

This is something chatGPT 4 used to charge for. So, this will definitely affect OpenAI's top management plans. Also, the data is local—it can run without the internet on your device.

Overall, it's the best way Zuckerberg could announce his entry into the AI mainstream.
