Most entrepreneurs lack a deep understanding of their customers' pains, desires, and dreams.
This leads to poor marketing and even worse content.
As I've often said, you can use ChatGPT to do your legwork (not mind work).
If you use it to research your customer avatar, the results may surprise you.
Today, I will provide prompts with all the necessary information about your customers' pains, dreams, and more.
You can use it to create targeted sales and social media content.
Let's dive in:
First, we need to turn ChatGPT into an expert in human psychology.
Here's the prompt:
Role:
You are a content strategist and a psychological expert who understands what drives people. I'm a business owner who wants to attract clients. Help me define my customer avatar.
Context:
Now, I'll give you information about my clients and the problems I help them solve.
Shall we proceed?
I've always struggled to determine my clients' demographics.
Sometimes, they are in their 50s, living in Singapore; other times, they are in their 20s, hustling in America.
That's why I prefer psychographics over demographics.
We will classify people not by their living place but by their state of mind.
Often, I look into their attitudes, aspirations, and other psychological criteria.
So, we'll mix the two.
Here's the second prompt:
Demographics and psychographics of my client:
Age -
Sector -
Attitude and Aspirations -
Outcome and End Goal -
Find the deep-seated emotions of my customer avatar, something that goes beyond surface-level desires. Give me five of these deep-seated emotions.
Put it in a table with the relevant heading.
Once we have identified these deep-seated desires, we can uncover the rest of the information, like their problems, pains, desires, and dreams.
Here's the last prompt:
Based on your last response, can you identify this customer avatar's problems, pains, desires, and dreams?
Please present the response in a table with appropriate headings.
Now that you have basic data about your avatar, you can use this to write a sales page or create a content strategy for Twitter and LinkedIn.
Here’s a glimpse of the results you can expect if you’re a content agency owner for Twitter and LinkedIn who helps entrepreneurs build their brand presence:
Happy sales!
