It’s been a week since Claude 3.5 launched.
As always, Twitter went mad and used it in all different ways.
But we’ll talk about 7 use cases of Claude AI (that are not just cool, but helpful).
1. Data visualization
Feed information to Claude 3.5 system.
Give specific instructions regarding what kind of graph you want.
It will change the way companies look at their presentations.
My favourite LLM just released its BEST (& FREE) model
Here’s a workflow to:
1⃣ Analyse data
2⃣ Visualise data, and
3⃣ Create Presentations
.. using #Claude 3.5 #Sonnet which claims to beat GPT-4o.-- Go to Claude(dot)ai

2. Infographic
Don’t waste your time going through 100 pages of PDF to collect data.
Claude can do it for you in less than 30 seconds.
The only time you’ll spend is writing the prompt.
"Claude 3.5, here is a 78 page PDF. Create an infographic describing its major findings." (accurate, though the implications are its own)
"Claude 3.5, create an interactive app demonstrating the central limit theorem"
"Claude, re-create this painting as an SVG as best you can"

3. Copy the UI of a website
Take a screenshot of any website you like.
Put it into Claude.
Now you have a usable UI of the website.
BREAKING: claude 3.5 is live since 1h.
They claim to be better than gpt-4o.
So I ran my own little test:
test #1 → copy the UI of a website

4. Pong game in 60 seconds
This is my personal favorite.
Greg created the game in Python. Such work earlier was done by junior developers, but they can now focus on more creative work, which is fulfilling.
I just created the game Pong in Python in under 60 seconds using AI with Claude Sonnet 3.5 and Aider.
In the process of replacing Claude with Llama 3.1 running on Akash so we can now have a full open-source stack.

5. Note-taking system
Dave took the prompt game to the next level.
He spent 3 hours building an all-in-one note-taking system in Claude that he can transcribe to and keep track of recordings and chats.
He calls this use case “Self-therapy.”
It took me two hours to build this with Claude 3.5 Sonnet, very neat.
1,294 lines of code
Next feature I want is automated iCalendar ICS files from voice transcriptions.
Built with next.js, sqlite, tailwind, shadcn, waveformer.js, groq whisper-large-v3 api, and gpt-4o mini api

6. Writing prompt
I know you’re probably tired of AI writing.
But this one is slightly better than the others (only a little).
Doesn't sound as robotic as GPT-4o, in my opinion.
Rowan puts together a neat prompt here.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is incredible for writing.
If you haven't tried it yet, you should. It's free and far less robotic than ChatGPT.
Here's the prompt process I do to mimic any writing style:

7. Interactive pitch deck
Are you cold pitching to someone?
Then make it more interesting with Claude. Make it interactive. Make it more informative.
Here’s CJ showing us how:
Claude Sonnet 3.5 transformed my pitch Deck into an Interactive Dashboard for Investors.
with just 1 simple prompt.
Education will never be the same with AI, It will change:
- eLearning
- Presentations
- Research Papers
- Online Courses
etcInteractive data is here now.

My take:
People often make the claim that AI can help you create apps or websites.
But I think it still has a long way to go.
Without technical skills, you might end up creating a poor version of your product.

ChatGPT and Claude are the new Excel.
They're spawning a wave of niche startups, just like spreadsheets did for B2B SaaS.
General-purpose tools breed power users. Power users create specific workflows. Those workflows become ripe for unbundling.
